Moose Hill’s Afterschool Programs

Celebrate the changes and rhythms of the natural world by bringing Moose Hill’s Afterschool  Programs to your children. Our programs are designed to engage students through guided discovery, games, arts and crafts, and even music.  Classes are a blend of indoor and outdoor exploration, and will be geared to the age level and needs of the students involved.  The possibilities are endless!

This 3-week afterschool program we will study the properties of water, the water cycle, aquatic ecosystems, and the conservation of water.  Try some hands-on experiments to understand the many properties of water, discover natural processes that make up the water cycle through fun-filled activities, gain an appreciation for the amazing life forms found within a wetland, and finally, learn how we humans have the ability to influence the natural environment in ways that are good, and in ways that are not so good.

Program is offered on Wednesdays 3/6, 3/13 & 3/20 from 4-5 pm for grades 1-5 at Blackburn Hall, Walpole. Fee is $60 for this 3 week session. Please contact Chad Norton, Rec Program Director at 508- 660-6370 or cnorton@walpole-ma.gov to register or contact Teacher Naturalist, Michael Acciavatti for program specifics at (781) 784-5691 / macciavatti@massaudubon.org.
