Comedian Marion Grodin Headlines Women’s Event
An evening of laughter with stand-up comic Marion Grodin
will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:30pm at Temple Israel (125 Pond
Street) in Sharon.
Grodin, daughter of actor Charles Grodin, has appeared on The Joy Behar Show, NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and ABC’s
The View. She has shared the stage
with Jerry Seinfeld, David Chappelle, Roseanne Barr and Robin Williams.

The event, called Cocktails, Caring and Comedy, is part of
an annual program geared for women in the South area. It is sponsored by the
Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston.

Event co-sponsors are Temple Israel (Sharon), Ahavath Torah
Congregation (Stoughton), Congregation Sha’aray Shalom Sisterhood (Hingham),
Hebrew College, Hebrew SeniorLife, Heights Crossing (Brockton), Mayyim Hayyim,
Southern New England Region of Hadassah, Temple Adath Sisterhood (Sharon),
Temple Beth Abraham (Stoughton), Temple Chayai Shalom (Easton), Temple Beth
Emunah (Brockton), Temple Kol Tikvah (Sharon), and Temple Sinai (Sharon).
Participants are asked to bring twin-sized sheet sets or
bath-sized towels to the event to donate to New Hope, a South Shore
organization dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence.

Caring & Comedy is a program of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts
