Chamber Orchestra Spring Concert
The Sharon Community Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Michael Korn, will present its spring program featuring works by Franz Schubert as well as the Double Bass Concerto No. 2 by Bottesini. Also on the program, the Sharon Community Youth Orchestra will be performing Schubert and Brahms.Our double bass soloist, Susan Hagen, a Boston native who received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in double bass performance at Boston University, performs with numerous local orchestras and ensembles, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops, and the Boston Classical Orchestra, among others. She is on the faculty of the Boston Conservatory of Music and Berklee College of Music and a founding member of Trio Nordica.
