Bernie Jacobs Memorial Concert

The 13th Annual Bernie Jacobs Memorial Concert will be presented at the Unitarian Church of Sharon on March 29 at 7 p.m.These concerts were instituted by his wife Iris after Bernie's death in 2001 to fulfill his wish for establishing scholarships to be awarded to Sharon High School Seniors who will b e continuing their musical studies beyond high School.  The concert always features the Kol Miriam Choir, an all female ensemble under Iris' direction and also highlights young, local musical talent.  In addition to Kol Miriam this year, the performers will be pianists Marina Chen,Kevin Fang, Angelique Scully, clarinetist Cyrus Bernstein, violinist Daniel Cetlin and soprano Jessica Rose Futran. Tickets are available at the door the evening of the concert. Adults $15,Seniors $10, students and children $5.
