Join the Sharon Bands as they wrap up their 25th anniversary season with a homecoming performance at Memorial Park Beach in Sharon! The celebratory performance will feature both bands: the Sharon Concert Band and the Roy Scott Big Band. Enjoy free ice cream — made available by a generous donation from The Sharon Recreation Department.
The Sharon Concert Band will perform contemporary tributes to Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston and Michael Bublé, well-known marches and patriotic hits by John Philip Sousa, Samuel Augustus Ward and Leroy Anderson, and everything from Duke Ellington to the Dropkick Murphys. The Roy Scott Big Band will heat things up with jazz, swing and funk hits by Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Tito Puente, Chicago, Steely Dan, and Bruno Mars.
