It will be an earlier start to school in Sharon as school will be starting in August this year.
The first day of school will be Aug. 28 for grades 1-12 and on Aug. 29 for kindergarten, There will no school Friday, Aug. 30.
The last day of school will be June 24, 2014, tentatively, depending on snow days.
Other key dates to remember will be the holiday vacation will be Dec. 23 to Jan. 1 and April vacation will be April 21-25.
