For Kathi and Chris Sullivan, nearly every day of their lives is a struggle.

Chris, a former New England Patriot who won the Super Bowl with the team in 2001, faces a constant struggle with alcohol and drug addiction and anxiety.

For Kathi, she must relive her teenage daughter's tragic death every time she delivers her message - Taylor's Message - to a crowded gym or auditorium full of high school students.

The husband and wife from Plainville travel around to area high schools giving their testimonials about the dangers of underage drinking, drug abuse and making poor choices. The two visited Sharon High School on Wednesday.

Canton

Canton Police Arrest Stoughton Man for Alleged Armed Robbery

Canton Police arrested a Stoughton man Friday morning after he allegedly robbed Austin's Mobil gas station on Washington Street.

Carlos Omar Santiago, 35, of Stoughton was arrested without incident shortly after midnight Friday. Santiago was arraigned at Stoughton District Court Friday morning on charges of assault to rob, armed assault and battery and attempt to commit a crime.  

Santiago allegedly had a gun and demanded the clerk at the gas station to "give him the money," according to Canton Police. The clerk then tried to explain that he had no access to the money, after which the suspect walked around the counter and allegedly confronted the clerk with a gun demanding the money. A struggle ensued, and the clerk was able to chase the suspect out of the store. 

Walpole

A Walpole man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his 6-year-old son, giving him a bloody nose and bruises on his forehead and back.

Stephen J. Walsh, 47, was charged with domestic assault and battery on a child after his wife witnessed him striking the young boy.

The mother of the boy, and their 3-year-old son who was also in the car, called police to reported the injuries.

She told police she had never seen the children with injuries of that type before.

Walsh was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery on a child. The mother took custody of both children.

Norwood

Opening Act: School of Rock Coming to Norwood

You might want to sign him or her up for the School of Rock, opening this Saturday on the Norwood/Walpole line.

School of Rock is a growing business with over 100 locations across the country that teaches young musicians the skills to hone the rock star in all of them.

Dedham

Man Arrested for Selling and Distributing Cocaine and Heroin to Dedham Residents

On Friday, police arrested Odelio Sepluveda-Guerrerro, at his home in Dorchester, for illegally selling and distributing heroin and cocaine to Dedham residents.

The arrest was a result of a six week joint investigation done by Dedham Police, Norfolk County Police Anticrime Task Force Agencies (NORPAC), Boston Police and the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs.

"A search of the apartment and the suspect resulted in the recovery of drug packaging equipment, drug diluent, approximately 52 grams of heroin, approximately 40 grams of cocaine and $65,225," police said in a statement.
