The following are local obituaries for this week.

Sidney H. Kerber

Sidney H. Kerber, 83, of Vero Beach, FL., formerly of Boca Raton, FL and Sharon died unexpectedly on July 5, 2013. 
He was the beloved husband of Erma Valdez and the late Pauline Korff,  son of the late Jack and Lena (Nunes) Kerber, devoted father of Jordan Kerber and Mary Moran of Hamilton, NY, Michael and Audrey Kerber of Sudbury, and Julie Kerber and Yogesh Bhavsar of Peabody, loving brother of the late Jane Lesser and Albee Kerber, cherished grandfather of Pearl, John, Ariana, and Joshua Kerber. Click here to read the obit. 

Maureen L. (McLaughlin) Levangie
Maureen L. (McLaughlin) Levangie of Sharon died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Copley at Stoughton after a period of failing health. 
She was the wife of the late Edward A. Levangie. Maureen was born in Quincy and raised in Braintree a daughter of the late Emmet and Ellen (Murphy) McLaughlin and was a graduate of Braintree High School. Click here to read the obit.

Phillip Eugene Webb

Phillip Webb, 78, of Attleboro, died July 4, 2013. Mr. Webb was raised and educated in Mansfield where he graduated from Mansfield High School in 1954. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served from November 26, 1954 until his honorable discharge on August 7, 1957 having achieved the rank of PVT-2. A professional painter and wallcoverer, Mr. Webb was self-employed for more than four decades including the work he performed in countless homes and businesses in the greater Attleboro area and at his store, Webb’s Wallcoverings, South Attleboro. Charles Mazza

Charles J. Mazza, 79, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River and Somerset, died July 1, 2013. He was an Army veteran, bank courier and former textile industry supervisor. For the obituary click here.

Ronald G. Loeser

Ronald Loeser of East Walpole, passed away peacefully at home July 7, 2013 surrounded by his family and friends. For the obituary click here.

Roger L. Leclerc

Roger L. LeClerc, 71, of Norton, died July 7, 2013. Prior to retiring, Mr. LeClerc had been employed for several years in various capacities at the Raynham/Taunton Dog Track. He had formerly worked for 25 years for the John Hancock Life Insurance Co. and at the same time also at the former Foxboro Raceway. When younger, one of Roger’s first jobs was at the former First National Grocery Store. For the complete obituary click here.
