NSTAR: 350 In Sharon Still Without Power

Utility still expects everyone restored by 10 p.m. Friday.

NSTAR had 350 Sharon customers without electricity early this morning and expects those outages to end by Friday night.

There were 15,382 total customers without power as of 4 a.m., according to the utility's website. Tropical Storm Irene caused the outages Sunday.

NSTAR said it anticipates fully restoring Sharon's electricity by 10 p.m. Friday, the same target it had on Tuesday. NSTAR's previous estimate was 12 a.m. Sunday.

Meanwhile, National Grid said today that 51 of its 58 Sharon customers remain without power.

Most of these outages should end by Friday, with the rest by Sunday, the utility said on its website. Work began Wednesday.
