Mother Nature has traded her kid gloves in for mittens and a shovel.
After just occasional dustings since , Sharon received 2.5 inches of snow overnight into this morning, Sharon Department of Public Works Assistant Operations Division Supervisor Bruce Giggey said today.
And after shoveling out this morning, Sharon residents should keep their shovels handy.
Another 3 to 5 inches are expected Saturday, mainly before 4 p.m., the National Weather Service reports.
