A Welcome Note from Your New Sharon Patch Editor

Amy Nachbar is now working as the new Sharon Patch assistant editor.

Hello, my name is Amy Nachbar and I have been a contributing photo journalist for 17 of the Patch.com sites in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for almost three years now.

Some of you may know me from my work with the Sharon Advocate as well as Sharon Patch and Canton Patch. For many years I worked as the staff photographer for the Canton Citizen newspaper, where I was also a contributing writer, a fashion columnist for a Boston print magazine, a rock journalist covering several of the musical artists who were coming here to perform at our many venues as well as local bands and artists.

On alternating Thursday evenings I do a cable news show called Wellesley This Week and in the past I was the Boston correspondent for the TLC Show, Designing Spaces. In all, it's been wonderful and I love what I do.

When the full time position opened in this area, I jumped at the opportunity.

Patch is not an on line newspaper, it is a leader in neighborhood content, conversations and commerce. Our goal is to make your life ridiculously easy.

If you happen to see me in town, I hope that you'll come up and introduce yourselves to me.

Please send me any information on your upcoming events and if I can't be there to cover them, then I encourage you to send in your photos and upload them yourselves. I can be reached at amy.nachbar@patch.com.

I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
