See Frederick Law Olmsted 'In Person'
Re-enactor Gerry Wright will perform as Frederick Law Olmsted. Olmsted's impact as a landscape architect and urban planner is unsurpassed.
"Frederick Law Olmsted: A One-Man Play and Show," by Gerry Wright will be performed at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Unitarian Church of Sharon sanctuary.
The event is co-sponsored by the Sharon Historical Society and Conversations at the Meetinghouse.
Gerry Wright has written this one-man play and has presented it at the Olmsted National Historic Site in Brookline, as well as performances in NYC for the 150th anniversary of Central Park; Asheville, N.C.; Olmsted Parks Conservancy in Louisville, Kentucky; Volgoda, Russia; Maryland Humanities Council 2010 Chautauqua Tour, and Jamaica Plain Forum, Boston.
