The Parrish family offered them for 80 cents a pop to celebrate their 80 years of owning the Sharon landmark.

"Many thanks to our terrific customers who helped us celebrate 80 years yesterday. 4,779 kiddie cones served!! And to our scooping staff: You are the best!!" Crescent Ridge officials posted on their Facebook page Wednesday.

Crescent Ridge also will hold two free "mooovie" nights this summer: at 9 p.m. Friday, when "Charlotte's Web" will be shown; and on Aug. 15.

Lemonade and popcorn will be free, according to Crescent Ridge's Facebook page.
