Autism Counselor / Resident Counselor at Charles River Center

CRC is seeking educators and care takers with experience serving individuals with Autism for our new residential program in Sharon, MA.  This home services young men and women on the autism spectrum and focuses on gaining independence in day-to-day life and in the community.  Available hours include evenings, overnights, and weekends.  Additional training on working with this population is provided through our partnership with Boston's Higashi School.  The job role includes:

Providing instruction, guidance and support in daily living skills, social skills, communication skills, and recreational skills for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Qualified applicants must be comfortable participating in an array of social and recreational activities in a structured environment to promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth

Giving support in areas such as community activities, daily exercise, self-care, and nutrition, as well as in the development and implementation of individual goals and objectives as outlined in Individual Support Plans

The Residential Counselor should possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is a big plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license as transporting individuals to programs and social outings is necessary.
  • Certification in Medication Administration (MAP) is preferred.  CRC also does certification and re-certification on-site.

Production Facility Associate at Staples

Position Summary:

An integral part of the Production Center team, the Production Center Associate is responsible for producing and finishing large, high quality copy and print orders for an array of customers.  Utilizing high end equipment, they must multi-task to deliver their work on time, by meeting and exceeding customer service standards and executing the Production Center Workflow and Quality Assurance Process.

Role Qualifications:

  • Follows production workflow to produce high volumes of work, using high end digital printer/copier equipment;  Operate of variety of finishing equipment including cutters, drills and bindery.
  • Effectively prepare and troubleshoot various files formats and change to PDF print-ready status.
  • Responsible for the insuring that all work produced is in accordance with the job ticket and customer’s quality expectations.
  • Run orders on time while maximizing the machines productivity.
  • Properly use and care for all equipment in compliance with operating instructions; use machine log/call list and escalation process to schedule machine and equipment maintenance.  
  • Follow policies & procedures; Ensure a clean and organized facility; Follow safety precautions
  • Packages finished products for shipping
  • May serve as back up driver

Operations: 

  • Utilizes production tools to monitor progress of production, confers with production center personnel
  • Works with PC Lead/Expert and PC Specialist to alter the production schedule and job order to expedite timely processing of projects in accordance with the customers’ requirements and Staples production center standards.
  • Maintains log of projects in production and updates this log daily to reflect current project

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail a must; Sound organizational skills 
  • Experience managing multiple priorities 
  • Ability to read & interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address them proactively
  • Basic computer skills a must

Preferred Skills: 

  • Multi-tasking
  • Knowledge of copy and print 
  • Experience working in a print environment 
  • Computer Skills:  Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, Publisher. 
  • Experience using technology to open a disk, CD, Zip and print a document in the formats listed above.

Preschool/Toddler Teacher at Little Sprout Academy

Searching for a Preschool(2.9 years-5 years old) and Toddler teacher (12 months-2.9 years old)for either full time or part time. We are looking for someone who can easily adapt to child's needs and give individual attention in a group setting to children. Someone who loves working with children and understands that each child is different. Applicants should be able to express themselves through writing and communication skills and be able to communicate well with parents. We are looking for someone who is very enthusiastic and has good common sense.

EEC certification and experience with children required. Applicants must be able to stay on their feet for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 30 pounds. An understanding of child growth and development. Applicants need to be patient, loving, flexible and sensitive to parent's and children's issues.

Office Administrator at Cintas

Cintas is currently seeking an Office Administrator I to support numerous office functions. Specific duties that may be assigned include accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry, and receptionist. All work will be done in person or via phone and e-mail. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and custom databases are the computer based programs used for the position. Basic administrative responsibilities will also include faxing, filing, photocopying, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and creating letters, memos and proposals. Position involves daily interaction with other office support positions, managers, service representatives/route drivers and customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook preferred
  • Previous administrative experience in a similar environment preferred
  • Basic minimum language communication skills in speaking and understanding English
