Sharon Police Log: Officer Finds Discarded Syringes Near Agawam Road

Sunday, Feb. 3.

1:02 p.m. - A small fire was reported in the woods on Glendale Road, which was put out in a timely manner.

1:52 p.m. - A report of an injured deer on Norwood Street and Cobbler Lane.

9:58 p.m. - The Sharon Public Works Department was contacted for icy road conditions on South Main Street.

Monday, Feb. 4

4:55 a.m. - A disabled motor vehicle was reportedly left in the middle of the roadway on Upland Road.

10:59 a.m. - A report of hazardous conditions when a dumpster was left taking up a lane on Wolomolopoag Street and Chase Drive.

5:14 p.m. - A report of a goat running loose on Massapoag Avenue and Morse Street.

8:29 p.m. - A Massachusetts motorist received a citation for driving with a suspended registration.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

2:43 p.m. - A Massachusetts motorist received a citation for driving with a suspended registration.

7:09 p.m. - The Public Works Department was contacted for slippery road conditions on South Main Street.

9:23 p.m. - A motorist hit a tree on Tiot Street.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

11:33 a.m. - A detail officer reported hazardous conditions when syringes were found on Agawam Road and Chase Drive.

Thursday, Feb. 7

4:41 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident with property damage on Moose Hill Park.

6:21 p.m. - Breaking and entering to a home was reported on Moose Hill Street.

11:01 p.m. - A speeding citation was issued to a Massachusetts motorist on High Plain Street and Norwood Street.

Friday, Feb. 8

1:02 a.m. - A motorist was charged with opearting under the influence of alcohol/drugs on Norwood Street.

9:28 a.m. - A large limb was laying across the roadway on Lakeview Street and East Foxboro Street.

Saturday, Feb. 9

12:32 p.m. - A report of hazardous conditions, specifically a cracked utility pole, was reported in the area of East Foxboro Street and Cedar Street.
