Sharon Credit Union Donates $1,000 to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation

Recently on his way to Gillette Stadium, Jim Carlson, President of Sharon Credit Union met a very impressive young lady named Vanna Pacella.  Ms. Pacella, though only six years old, she has many notable passions including helping in the fight against cancer by collecting donations for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.  Before each event held at the stadium, Ms. Pacella sets up a table outside her home giving away edible goodies, such as homemade cookies to passersby in order to bring attention to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.

Vanna’s plan was to collect $1000.00 by the time football season ended, but to her surprise she has already collected over $2,000, and football season has just begun.

To support Vanna’s fundraising efforts, the Credit Union has donated $1,000 to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation in her honor.  At a brief reception at the Credit Union, with her family present, Mr. Carlson presented Vanna with an oversized ceremonial “big check” representing the donation.  She plans to reuse the big check when her fundraiser is over, presenting it to the Foundation made out for the total amount she has raised during the football season.
