SHARON PATCH PROFILE: Sharon Artist Dorothy Brenner Appel

Her specialties are watercolor, oil, wood cuts, pen, ink studies and pastels.

Dorothy Brenner Appel is 88 years young. Appel started painting over 50 years ago and had her first showing in Cambridge at the Cambridge Art Association.

"I started painting as a young child and always loved to go to see art demonstrations. Watching someone do a watercolor painting was fascinating to me. I would go home and do it myself," said Appel.
