Pick Up Times and Location

CSA shares are distributed at the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary CSA barn, located on the corner of S. Main Street and Moose Hill Street in Sharon. Shareholders select which day they want to pick up their produce: Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. or Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm.

Hands-on Involvement

An important part of our CSA is connecting the community with the land. Each season, we welcome adults and children onto the farm to get their hands dirty helping harvest, piling rocks, sampling vegetables, and more.

As a way to make this a reality, we ask that each shareholder commit to working eight hours over the course of season. This is usually done harvesting or helping at the distribution table. Other opportunities to get involved include weekend harvesting parties, food pantry deliveries, sharing recipes, and more. It’s a great way to connect with the farm and the community.

Shareholders also have pick-your-own opportunities throughout the season including fresh flowers, peas, beans, cherry tomatoes, edamame, and even popcorn!

Giving Back

We are dedicated to providing fresh, organic produce to the greater community that does not have access to healthy food. Shareholders each season help us realize this goal, by bringing food to area pantries and shelters, organizing “gleanings” in the fields, and purchasing shares specifically for local shelters and food pantries.
