A Chance for Sharon Residents to Laugh Their Cares Away

A "laughter yoga" session will be held in Sharon on Saturday morning.

It's been a chaotic couple of weeks for the Northeast, as well as the rest of the country, what with two storms to wallop the area and the 2012 Presidential Election.

But now that it's behind us, a session of what is known as "Laughter Yoga" might be the perfect remedy for Sharon residents looking to take their mind of the craziness of the past few weeks.

The free session will take place at the Unitarian Church of Sharon at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. Sessions will recur every second Saturday, as well.

Open to any level of physical ability and any age level, the session offers a chance for residents to participate in an uplifting experience.

The session features prompts for laughter combined with gentle breathing that brings more oxygen to the body's cells, and in turn provides for enhanced vitality, energy and a feeling of real well-being.
