5 Things, Oct 22: Books in Bloom at the Sharon Garden Club

Also today: Check out an exhibit at the Lakeside Gallery and find out what homes sold in the area recently.

1. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, the Sharon Garden Club will present its second annual "Books in Bloom" display at the Sharon Public Library. Members have designed floral arrangements representing books they love. The arrangements are displayed throughout the library. The program is open whenever the library is open.

2. At 10:30 a.m. the Senior Center is offering a program entitled, "President Who?" 

3. The "Memories and Dreams" exhibit opened at the Lakeside Gallery at the Sharon Adult Center over the weekend and will run through Nov. 30. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday until closing at 8 p.m. and Friday until noon. Other evenings by appointment.

4. Don't forget that tomorrow is 'Picture Day' at the Early Childhood Center.
