Selectmen Meeting Tonight
The Sharon Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Agenda items include hearing the final plan for Sacred Heart park and a chance for the selectmen to consider taking initial positions on the articles set for November's special town meeting.
EPOCH of Sharon Welcomes J. Slick
EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Sharon, 259 Norwood St., will welcome New Jersey native John Ferguson, also known as J. Slick, for a performance on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 2:30 p.m.
During his more than 30-year career, Slick has mastered a variety of genres and led popular area bands including The Ovations, Back Issue and Funk Munks.

Family Movie Night
First Congregational Church of Sharon will show Disney’s “Tangled” on Sept. 20. at 7 p.m. on the lawn. The movie will be moved to the Parish Hall if the weather is bad.
