From the Town of Sharon:
The Maskwonicut Street bridge will be closed until April 1, 2014. The bridge is closed due to electrical lines shorting out on ice formations on the bridge. Pedestrians and motorists must not cross the bridge, due to the risk of possible electrocution. Please seek alternate routes until April 1, 2014. MassDOT and AMTRAK are currently working on a repair solution for the bridge. Any information received by the Town of Sharon regarding project updates will be added to the town's website.
