In October a delegation from Sharon visited Transylvania on a Cultural Exchange. The presentation will be a combination of travelogue and commentary on the rich and complex hisotry and culture of Transylvania in Romania. Most think of the Count Dracula myth when they hear Transylvania, but that is fiction and you will be amazed at how interesting the reality is. Ancient enthnic and religious mixes with traditional subsistence economies and emergent free markets. This is part of the Conversations at the Meetinghouse speaker series held the first Friday of every month at the Meetinghouse. (Sharon Unitarian Church.) This is Free and Open to the public.
