 arbara Seligman and Liane Fisher\, will be displayed at the Lakeside Gal
 lery at the Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging from July 17 throug
 h Aug. 30\, with a wine and cheese reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday\,
  July 19.Fisher is originally from the UK\, having moved to Sharon in 19
 99. She studied both art and dance throughout her life\, has a Master of
  Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst\, has performe
 d with the Boston Ballet and the Royal Ballet and is now a ballet teache
 r. Fisher is drawn to drawing ballet scenes from time to time and is fon
 d of Degas. She prefers to work in oil pastel\, watercolor\, colored pen
 cil\, charcoal\, and pen and ink. Meanwhile\, Seligman studied with Robe
 rt Douglas Hunter and Don Stone. She is a member of the Fuller Craft Mus
 eum and the Attleboro Arts Museum. Seligman has exhibited in numerous ju
 ried shows. Among others\, she exhibited her works at a fundraiser for s
 tate Treasurer Shannon P. O&rsquo\;Brien at the Church Street Winery in&
 nbsp\; Raynham and was selected to participate in the International Wome
 n's Month Art Exhibition 2002 and 2003 at the Fuller Crafts Museum. She 
 has displayed works through the Stoughton Art Association\, Dorothy M. W
 oodward Gallery\, Stoughton Public Library\, Sharon Public Library\, Sha
 ron Co-operative Bank\, Sharon Lakeside Gallery\, Wallace Anderson Galle
 ry at Bridgewater State College\, Barbara Schinder&rsquo\;s Interiors in
  New Seabury\, Mansfield Music and Art Society\, Attleboro Arts Museum\,
  Fuller Craft Museum\, Massasoit Community College Canton Gallery\, Perk
 ins Gallery Community Exhibit 2003 and 2004\, Blanch Ames Regional Art C
 ompetition 2003\, and Plymouth Yacht Club. Seligman has been an educator
  for many years. She has been an art instructor in Sharon\, Canton\, Man
 sfield\, Norwood and Dedham. Her students range in age from 2 to 104. Sh
 e is a graduate of Vesper George School of Art for commercial art and Br
 idgewater State College for fine art and early childhood education. Seli
 gman has donated many animal works for auction through the Doberman Resc
 ue Unlimited in Sandown\, NH. Many of her works are in private collectio
 ns.The Lakeside Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednes
 day\, Thursday until 8 p.m.\, Friday until noon\, and other evenings by
