$15.00
The first Sharon PMC Kids Ride to raise money for cancer research is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 19 at the East Elementary School.
The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge is an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Institute through its Jimmy Fund.
This year, throughout 28 towns in New England, more than 6,000 children ages 3-16 will participate in PMC Kids Rides. Since 2005, PMC Kids Rides has collected over $3 million to help find a cure.
The program engages youth in philanthropy and teaches them the value of working for the benefit of others. The ride also promotes athletic fitness and physical activity among youth.
