Let's Laugh Today in Sharon - FREE!
Any age and any level of physical ability can participate.
Laughter Yoga combines components such as deep breathing, clapping and laughter. It helps relieve stress and strengthen the immune system.
Please bring a water bottle, because laughing can be dehydrating.
A donation of a canned good for the Sharon-Stoughton food pantry would be appreciated.
The program will be led by Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers Linda and Bill Hamaker, founders of The Let's Laugh Today Laughter Club in Franklin, Let's Laugh Today in Walpole, and The Westwood Laughter Circle. They also run leader trainings and do private events. See www.letslaughtoday.com
More About Unitarian Church of Sharon
The Unitarian Church of Sharon occupies the town's historic meetinghouse. Built in 1842, the facility is actually the third of that name, according to the church's website. The first one was built in 1742 and the second one in 1787. The current meeting house includes timber from the 1787 structure, according to the church. The church typically draws 100 people for a 10:15 a.m. Sunday service, says the Rev. Jim Robinson, the pastor.
