A Sharon resident's book has won a silver medal in an Association of Jewish Libraries contest. "One Is Not A Lonely Number," by Evelyn Krieger is among nine Sydney Taylor Honor Books for 2011. The Jewish libraries association presents the Sydney Taylor Book Awards to "outstanding books for children and teens that authentically portray the Jewish experience," the group's website says. Krieger's book was named in the Older Readers category. The book was published by YM Books, an imprint of Yaldah Media Inc., run by her daughter, Leah Larson.
