Now that the Blizzard of 2013 has laid a foundation for the perfect sledding environment, Sharon residents can once again pull out that old sled or snowtube and head to the hills.

well back in the 1960's I was a student at sacred heart school- we had one small and one big wooden slide out back behind the pond-- the night before a storm the brothers would spray water on the slides- it froze and we could slide down onto the pond that had been plowed of snow so we could also ice skate-- but I guess those days are now over-- if you could please check the blue shed by the pond, because I left my sled there thanks lol bob

Funny you should say that...I live near there and that slide...sort of still exists......you wouldn't be able to find it if you didn't know it was there with all the overgrowth...the shed is long gone....but oddly....there were 3 sleds in it back in the early 80's...lol

We used to sled at the sharon country club.....was it the 6th hole....the one with the bridge that crosses over the stream......
