On Saturday, Dec. 1, the Sharon Eagles achieved their first Division 3 Super Bowl victory, a feat that also led to recognition of the team's head coach, Dave Morse

But it's not all about football in 2012. Sharon is home to a wide-variety of sports teams, all filled with enthusiastic and talented athletes. 

Other highlights from this year include Sharon's Sara Gildersleeve setting a Connecticut College school record, sailors winning a final regatta, the Sharon girls U12 'A' soccer team winning the D2 South Shore title, and highlights from The 2012 Sharon Triathlon. among others. 

Most recently, the Sharon Eagles won their first meet of the 2012 season.
