(VIDEO) What Did You Do in Sharon on Saturday?

Jamnesty, yard, plant and book sales and supporting eye research were just some of the activities happening in town.

Sharon residents had plenty of reasons to be outside Saturday, beyond the beautiful weather.

In Sharon Center alone on Saturday morning, people saw:

Across town, at the Sharon Community Center, the Sharon Garden Club sold plants grown from its members' gardens.

And Saturday afternoon, at Veterans Memorial Park Beach, Sharon High School's Amnesty International chapter held Jamnesty, a festival featuring SHS and community groups, and student and faculty musical performances. The proceeds will support Amnesty International's efforts to fight world hunger, especially in the horn of Africa.

Here are some of the scenes from Saturday.
