(VIDEO) Sharon Historical Society Salutes Girl Scouting's 100th Birthday

Sharon scouts have visited the museum throughout March.

Sharon has celebrated the Girl Scouts of the USA's 100th birthday by, figuratively, adding a second Girl Scout House this month.

Sharon Girl Scout troops have visited the Sharon Historical Society museum, which has had Sharon Girl Scout artifacts displayed in tribute throughout March, which is national Girl Scout Month, historical society member Shirley Schofield says.

"Sharon's first troop was organized in 1917. In Sharon today there are 11 troops," says Schofield, who, on Wednesday, addressed the latest scout troop to visit the High Street museum from the Sharon Girl Scout House, on Station Street near South Main Street.
