VIDEO: Sharon Community Chamber Orchestra Opens Ninth Season
The musicians performed at Sharon Middle School on Tuesday night.
The Sharon Community Chamber Orchestra opened its ninth season Tuesday night with seven selections in the Sharon Middle School auditorium.
Led by Music Director Michael Korn, the orchestra opened the program with "Suite of French Dances," by Paul Hindemith.
The musicians followed with "Romanian Folk Dances," by Bela Bartok; "Valse Triste," by Jean Sibelius; and "Gavotte," by Sergei Prokofiev.
"Fratres," by Arvo Part; "Cafe Neon," by Steven Karidoyanes and "The Three-Cornered Hat," by Manuel de Falla concluded the program.
The orchestra's next concert, an all-Beethoven program, is May 15 at the middle school.
