(VIDEO) Audience Soaks Up First Sharon Lakeside Concert of 2012
Professor Louie and The Cromatix performed here Wednesday night.
Wednesday night brought dozens to Sharon's Veteran's Memorial Park and Beach, but not to swim.
The audience soaked up a bandstand performance by Professor Louie and The Cromatix.
The show started this year's Sharon Lakeside Concert Series. Resident Lee Shapiro organized the series for the Sharon Recreation Department.
The band played a variety of music, some from its new CD, "Wings On Fire."
The rest of the Sharon Lakeside Concerts schedule is as follows:
- July 18: Girl Howdy
- July 25: Incendio
- Aug. 1: Love Fest, featuring Becky Chase
- Aug. 8: Occidental Gypsy
- Aug. 15: Henri Smith's New Orleans Friends and Flavours
All shows will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Rain will move a show to the Sharon Community Center.
