Spencer Needs to be the Top Cat
Meet the latest Sharon Patch Pet of the Week, courtesy of the Neponset Valley Humane Society.
Spencer is a very loving and friendly cat who wants to be the only pet in his new home.
He is a little shy when he meets new people, but quickly warms up. He loves to be brushed and to be around people.
Spencer lived with a dog when he was young and everything was fine. He was a strictly indoor cat and happy that way. But then everything changed when his former family got a new dog. The new dog relentlessly chased Spencer and even hurt him pretty seriously. Spencer took matters into his own hands and moved out. He went to a neighbor, which would have been fine except the neighbor has other cats and Spencer does not get along with other cats. He prefers to go outside rather than to be around the other cats. He may be happy as a stricly indoor cat or he may still want to spend time outside. A home with a fenced yard or screened-in porch would be ideal for this nice mellow kitty. Mainly he just needs a family to love and care for him.
Spencer is 8 years old. Call Neponset Valley Humane Society at 781-769-1990 or email nvhumanesociety@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with Spencer.
