Sharon Voters Choose Levin, Weinstein for Library Trustee

Sharon's annual town election was Tuesday.

 

The Sharon Public Library Board of Trustees kept a longtime member and added a newcomer Tuesday.

Sharon's annual town election ended with Robert Levin earning a fourth three-year term on the library board. Levin received 642 of the 1,764 votes cast for trustee, according to unofficial results.

Cheryl Weinstein also earned a three-year term. She received 621 votes, according to the unofficial results.

Kirstin Gray was third with 499 votes, according to the unofficial results.

Incumbent Amie Beth Saphire did not seek re-election.

The election drew 1,245 voters, or 10.07 percent, of Sharon's registered voters to the Sharon High School polls.
