Sharon Students to Perform With Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras

The two teenagers will perform Verdi’s Rigoletto on Sunday, Jan. 20 at Sanders Theatre Harvard University.

 

Two students from Sharon will perform a semi-staged opera with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, according to a statement Monday.

Noah Rosen, 17, and Irene Tang, 14, will present Verdi’s Rigoletto on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 3 p.m. at Sanders Theatre - Harvard University. Rosen will be on percussion while Tang will perform on violin.

Federico Cortese, Conductor and Music Director, works throughout January with the professional singers and the stage director. This season the stage designer and director will be Doug Fitch. BYSO will also be joined by Boston’s Handel and Haydn Society Chorus for this performance.
