Sharon Seniors Get Taste of Wine Expertise

Canton Village Wine & Spirits owner Jeff Wilson spoke during Thursday night's wine tasting at the Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging.

Sharon seniors got a taste of a local businessman's wine expertise Thursday night.

And sampled a few varieties as well.

Canton Village Wine & Spirits owner Jeff Wilson spoke to a roomful of guests during "Wine Doesn't Have to be Expensive to be Good!", a wine tasting and concert at the Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging.

Wilson's topics of choice included Chardonnay, and the Three Grapes of Summer: Line 39 Sauvignon Blanc, Pepperwood Pinot Noir and Fetzer Gewurztraminer, according to the program.

Wilson also fielded questions from the guests.

The Kammerwerke Woodwind Trio, which plays Spanish/Latino music, from classical to jazz, performed after the wine tasting.
