Sharon School Committee member Mitch Blaustein probably won't see the first pitch of the 2011 World Series tonight.

"I would probably watch after somebody wins three games, out of curiosity. If it was the Red Sox, I would build my schedule around the games," Blaustein told the Associated Press in a story carried nationwide today.

The story asks fans and baseball professionals from across the nation, including former Red Sox star Curt Schilling, about interest in the series between the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The best-of-seven series opens at 8:05 tonight in St. Louis.
