Laura Kirshner, a Sharon native, has been hired as the newest Assistant District Attorney for the Middlesex District Attorney's office.  

A graduate of Boston University's School of Law, as well as McGill University in Montreal, Kirshner will be working as an ADA in the Appeals and Trading Bureau. 

“We’re extremely pleased to be welcoming Laura as the newest member of our prosecution team,” Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone said in a statement. “Laura comes to our office with a range of legal and advocacy work, demonstrating her commitment to public service. We are confident she will serve the people of Middlesex County well.”

Kirshner comes to the DA's office having previously worked as a legal intern at the National Consumer Law Center Student Loan Borrower Assistance Project. Prior to that, she worked as a law clerk at the Boston University Office of the General Counsel and as a Law Student Advocate at Shelter Legal Services in Roxbury, according to the recent statement.
