Sharon Resident Arrested for Breaking and Entering, Other Charges

The following statement was released by the Sharon Police Department on the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 23.
After a lengthy investigation by Sharon Police Detective Kevin Bishop, a local resident was arrested on Aug. 16 and faces multiple charges.
The male, Alexander Fotopoulos, 21, of Sharon, was arrested on the following charges:
- Breaking and Entering Daytime with Intent to Commit a Felony, Larceny of Property over $250, Malicious Damage to Property. This was a break into a neighboring apartment on Pond Street on Jan. 14, 2012.
- Breaking and Entering Daytime with Intent to Commit a Felony, Larceny of Property over $250. This was also a break into a neighboring apartment on Pond Street on Jan. 27, 2012.
- Breaking and Entering Daytime with Intent to Commit a Felony, Malicious Damage to Property. This was for breaking into an office, damage to storage bins, theft from washer/dryer coin dispensers located inside a Pond Street apartment complex during the week of Aug. 20, 2012.
