Sharon Police Logs: Syringe Found on Sidewalk, License Plate Stolen

Monday, Dec. 24
9:45 a.m. - Sharon Police received a report of a syringe that was found on the sidewalk in the area of Suffolk Road.
10:15 a.m. - The Sharon Police Department assisted the Sharon Fire Department after receiving a report of a natural gas smell in the area of Spring Lane and Tall Tree Road.
12:56 p.m. - A report was filed regarding a stolen license plate that was allegedly taken off a vehicle at a home on South Main Street.
5:16 p.m. - A caller reported to police that his motor vehicle was vandalized by eggs the previous day.
Tuesday, Dec. 25
4:57 p.m. - A Sharon Police observed sparks emitting from a chimney at a home on Berkshire Avenue.
Thursday, Dec. 27
11 p.m. - Police arrested an individual on South Main Street for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to police reports.
Saturday, Dec. 29
10:37 a.m. - Sharon Police filed a report to notify Town Hall and the Department of Public works or a large amount of water in the road in the area of Pheasant Wood Road and Huckleberry Lane.
