Sharon Police Logs: Beach Gathering, Suspicious Vehicles

Sunday, Aug. 19
Erratic Driver (2:01 a.m.) - Sharon Police responded to the area of Pond Street and Beach Street on a report of an erratic driver.
Warning Issued (10:26 a.m.) - Police issued a written warning to a driver in the area of Rte. 95 and Exit 8, or South Main Street, for improper passing and a marked-lanes violation.
Suspicious Vehicles Parked by Train Tracks (5:25 p.m.) - Police received a report of two suspicious-looking motor vehicles parked by the train tracks in Foxborough, near East Foxboro Street and Canoe River Road.
Group Pushed Along at Beach (10:25 p.m.) - Police cleared a group of youths from the beach near Beach Street and Memorial Beach Lk.
Wednesday, Aug. 22
Potential Break-In (7:33 p.m.) - Police received a report from a North Main Street resident that upon returning home they found the front door of the residents to be open.
Thursday, Aug. 23
Vandalism on Cedar Street (12:30 p.m.) - Police received a report of vandalism of more than $250 worth of damage done to the public road on Cedar Street. Reports did not specify the nature of the vandalism.
Saturday, Aug. 25
Smoke and Music (9:22 p.m.) - Police received a report of a potential gathering accompanied by the smell of smoke and sound of music in the area of Michael Lane and Magnolia Road.
