Sharon Police Investigating Alleged Stabbing at Graduation Party

The victims were treated and released from Norwood Hospital, police say.

Two males allegedly were stabbed and five others allegedly were struck by a motor vehicle at an over-21 graduation party in Sharon early Sunday.

The injuries, which were not life threatening, happened after "a large number" of uninvited guests came to the Lyndon Road home, Sharon Police said today in a press release.

"These people were asked to leave by the resident and several altercations ensued outside of the residence," police said.

Five males told police "they were struck by a motor vehicle leaving the party," police said.

All of the victims were treated and released from Norwood Hospital after the Lyndon Road incident, police said. One victim is from Sharon, and the rest are from Boston, Brockton and Walpole, police said.

Sharon Police responded to the home about 12:33 a.m. after a neighbor reported a large house party and disturbance there.

Upon arrival, police "a large number of people leaving the area" and that all guests were over age 21, police said.

Police said they are pursuing several leads.
