Sharon Police Assisted With Marathon Bombing Response Crews

Three officers from the Sharon Police Department were deployed to Back Bay last week to help law enforcement after the blasts at the Boston Marathon.

Sharon Police were on hand last week to help authorities in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings. 

The Sharon Police Department released the following statement Monday: 

Three Sharon Police Officers were deployed to Boston last week to bolster and assist law enforcement activities since the Boston Marathon bombings. Those officers joined other officers assigned to the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council in various capacities including SWAT, Motorcycle Operations, and general assistance including during President Obama's visit.
