"Although it's been a while since I took this photo, the beauty of the lake, which is one of the towns greatest resources remains the same," Moloney said.
"Sharon’s Lake Massapoag, with one of the three Lifeguard Stands constructing during Matt Russell’s Eagle Project that were dedicated to Dave Clifton, Sharon’s legendary Recreation Director of 38 years upon Dave’s retirement from the town. People all over town, and some who worked with Clifton years ago and have since moved on, contributed to this community-wide effort and tribute to keep the Town’s residents safe and healthy," Russell said.

As 2012 comes to a close, we at Sharon Patch are working on a new project that engages readers with the Sharon Patch Facebook Page.

As part of the project, we're asking our readers to send us their best photos to put into our weekly rotation of our Facebook Cover Photo. Each Monday, we'll use a new photo submitted by a reader.

What We're Looking For: Pictures. Lots of pictures. Specifically, pictures of the scenic areas and best events of people doing great things in town.

What You Need To Do: Upload your best photos of Sharon right to this article by clicking the "Upload Photos and Videos" button. Add any information, stories or memories you have for the photo.

Want more information? Have other questions? Send a note over to SharonPatch@Patch.com. (NOTE: Please do not send photos to this email. Only photos uploaded to the site will be considered for the rotation.)
