Sharon Man Supports Drafting U.S. Senate Candidate
The Progressive Change Campaign Committee and member Michael Wayshak want Harvard Law Professor Elizabeth Warren to challenge Wrentham Republican Scott Brown.
Sharon resident Michael Wayshak is part of a grassroots Progressive group campaigning to draft Harvard Law Professor Elizabeth Warren to run for U.S. Senate against Wrentham Republican Scott Brown, CBSNews.com reports.
The Progressive Change Campaign Committee is spearheading the effort, which had more than 47,000 supporters as of Thursday, CBSNews.com reported.
CBSNews.com quotes Wayshak as saying, in a statement, that "I think she'd be far and away the best candidate to take down Scott Brown. She is brilliant and she makes complex subjects understandable to everyday people. She would be great."
Newton Mayor Setti Warren, a Democrat, met with Sharon voters at a resident's home Sunday.
Sharon Patch will have a story later today about this campaign appearance.

I'd say we have too many from Harvard Law- Obama and Kagan be the egregious examples of failure. Both Setti Warren and Elizabeth Warren are 180 degrees in the wrong direction.

She would be a terrific person to represent MA in the Senate (and its about time we had a woman senator from our state). She is not elitist, and all of her work supports the claim that she is an advocate of the middle and lower classes.

Heaven forfend! No more elites from top schools*. No, no no!
I say let's round up some Joe six-pack candidates from the nearest road house. Any knowledge of history, law or science is un-American. It is unfortunate that our founding fathers were learned & elite, but now is the time to undo the work of these "egregious examples of failure."
Idiocracy for all!
* Although Our President, Barack Obama got to Harvard hard effort, his family having come up short on silver spoons.

We already have lots of lefty politicians from this state. Let's celebrate diversity and get more conservatives, unless of course, you really don't like diversity.
