The Sharon High School Sailors earned the overall first place trophy in their final regatta of the season Wednesday, besting 14 other Massachusetts Bay League high school teams in light south west winds on the Charles River Basin in Boston.

Junior skippers Jordan Kartin and George Larionov with their crews Alison Ruttenburg and Sarem Rashid took first and second in their fleet. Sophomore Peter Riley and his crew Geoffrey Commons finished third in their fleet.

Twenty-three undergrad sailors from the Sharon team sailed in this regatta.
