Sharon Firefighters Handle Two Brush Fires

Here are the highlights of the Sharon Fire log.

 

Sharon firefighters handled two brush fires late last week.

At 3:26 p.m. Friday, firefighters contained a brush fire at 7 Margaret Road. And at 11:56 a.m. Saturday, firefighters extinguished unauthorized burning at 59 Glendale Road, according to the Sharon Fire log.

Here are the other highlights of the Sharon Fire log for Feb. 5 to Feb. 11, courtesy of the Sharon Fire Department:

On Sunday, Feb. 5 at 5:39 p.m., firefighters responded to 297 Walpole St. for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries, and provided basic life support.

On Monday, Feb. 6 at 2:16 p.m., EMS responded to 215 Bay Road and transported one person to the hospital.

At 6:24 p.m., EMS responded to 1529 Bay Road and transported one person to the hospital.

On Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 1:32 p.m., EMS responded to 26 Hixson Farm Road and provided advanced life support.

At 3:27 p.m., EMS responded to 68 Cannon Ball Road and provided advanced life support.

At 10:27 p.m., EMS responded to 83 Deerfield Road and transported one person to the hospital.

On Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 11:22 a.m., EMS responded to 147 Old Post Road and provided advanced life support.

At 5:06 p.m., EMS responded to 15 Livingston Road and provided basic life support.

On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 10:52 a.m., firefighters responded to 34 Forge Road for smoke or odor removal, and provided manpower.

At 2:22 p.m., EMS responded to Station at Pleasant streets and transported one person to the hospital.

At 6:07 p.m., EMS responded, mutual aid, to 95 Washington St., and provided advanced life support.

At 6:55 p.m., EMS responded to 48 Walpole St. and provided advanced life support.

On Friday, Feb. 10 at 1:03 a.m., EMS responded to 11 Hampshire Ave. and provided basic life support.

On Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 a.m., EMS responded to 30 Bayberry Drive Unit 4 and transported one person to the hospital.

At 4:22 a.m., firefighters responded to 320 East St. to investigate a reported motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

At 12:34 p.m., firefighters responded, mutual aid, to 159 Bay Road in Easton for a reported building fire, and transported one person to the hospital.

At 1:01 p.m., EMS responded to 26 Hixson Farm Road and transported one person to the hospital.

At 1:44 p.m., EMS responded to 259 Norwood St. and transported one person to the hospital.

At 2:25 p.m., EMS responded to 48 Walpole St. and transported one person to the hospital.

At 3:46 p.m., EMS responded to 675 South Main St. and transported one person to the hospital.

At 5:38 p.m., EMS responded, mutual aid, to 1550 Central St. and transported one person to the hospital.

At 8:24 p.m., EMS responded to 419 Massapoag Ave. and transported one person to the hospital.
