Sharon Firefighters Assist at Foxborough Blaze

Here are the highlights of the Sharon Fire log.

 

A fire at a two-story home in Foxborough topped Sharon firefighters' activity last week.

Sharon firefighters responded, mutual aid, to 218 East St. at 7:09 p.m. Thursday, and provided manpower at the scene, according to the Sharon Fire log.

The 6:50 p.m. fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damage to the home, The Sun Chronicle reported.

Here are the other highlights of the Sharon Fire log for Jan. 8 to Jan. 14, courtesy of the Sharon Fire Department:

On Sunday, Jan. 8 at 1:42 p.m., firefighters investigated a reported water problem at 136 North Main St.

At 3:22 p.m., firefighters investigated a reported water problem at 7 Nathaniel Guild Road.

At 4:31 p.m., firefighters investigated a reported gas leak (natural gas or LPG) at 182 East St.

On Monday, Jan. 9 at 9:10 a.m., EMS responded to 11 Norfolk Place and transported one person to the hospital.

At 5:58 p.m., EMS responded to 58 Azalea Road and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 8:22 p.m., EMS responded to 21 Indian Lane and transported one person to the hospital.

On Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 6:34 a.m., EMS responded to 19 Moose Hill Parkway and transported one person to the hospital.

On Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 8:22 a.m., firefighters investigated a reported unauthorized burning at 435 East Foxboro St.

At 7:10 p.m., EMS responded to 231 Hampton Road and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

On Thursday, Jan. 12 at 4:15 a.m., EMS responded to 51 Hixson Farm Road Unit 134 and transported one person to the hospital.

At 7:20 a.m., EMS responded to Upland Street and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 7:09 p.m., firefighters responded, mutual aid, to 218 East St., Foxborough, for a reported building fire, and provided manpower.

On Friday, Jan. 13 at 11:40 a.m., EMS responded to 14 Fales Road and transported one person to the hospital.

At 4 p.m., firefighters responded to Quincy Street at Paul Revere Road for a reported power line down, and referred the matter to the proper authority.

On Saturday, Jan. 14 at 8:29 p.m., EMS responded to 35 Hixson Farm Road Unit B and transported one person to the hospital.
