Sharon Fire Log: Sharon Fire Assisted Mansfield in a 2 Alarm Fire at a Mansfield Recycling Plant
The following information was provided by the Sharon Fire Department daily log.
December 9
12:32 p.m. - An outside rubbish fire at 24 Upland Road. Fire Department enforced code for rubbish fires.
4:26 p.m. - A natural gas leak ir LPG was investigated at 5 Lilac Street.
December 11
11:04 p.m. - A 2 alarm building fire in Mansfield at a recycling plant at 73 Plymouth Street. Sharon Fire assisted with the 2 alarm blaze.
December 12
9:09 p.m. - A gasoline or other flammable liquid spill at 35 Firebrick Road. Fire department ventilated the building.
9:35 p.m. - Steam rupture of pressure at 40 Bayberry Drive. Fire department provided manpower.
Decemnber 15
10:47 a.m. - Overpressure rupture of boiler at 198 S. Main Street. Fire department investigated and took care of the situation.
